Christmas comes early for all the branches of Our Home as the Yuletide brings in a series of different holiday stylings from September to December of 2023. Our Home kicks off the months-long celebration of the most wonderful time of the year with a design style that's ultra-hip, stylish and modern, yet funky and whimsical – definitely, a very unique way of celebrating the Christmas season. Dubbed as Modern Spectacular, the style centers on vibrant colors, modern furniture with the addition of neon strip lights to evoke that youthful and energetic vibe.
An L-Shaped sectional sofa in patent black leather takes center stage in the living room setting. The sleek lines and the modern and contemporary proportions of the couch lends a very urban look to the style while at the same time, still evokes a comfortable ambiance. Punctuated with blue, hot pink and magenta throw pillows, the sofa instantly comes alive and elicits a youthful character. A pair of magenta armchairs provide a stark contrast and mirror the vibrant color scheme of the setting while a lone, black, leather, tufted ottoman provides accent seating. A unique, marble topped, round center table with a complementing side table are added for a play on shapes and textures and echoes the dynamic appeal of the vignette. Carefully chosen accessories and accoutrements like chrome and silver tabletop trinkets and black wrought iron candle holders allow for a stylish array of personal touches to the mix. Lamps with silver bases that shine, and sparkle add to the holiday cheer. A black Christmas tree towards the back of the sofa are adorned with blue and pink baubles, magenta and turquoise balls and silver and glass icicles creating a well-curated collection of tree trimmings that strictly adhere to the theme. Added trims include a pair of stylized Christmas tree shapes in black illuminated in pink neon lights.
A round, marble dining table for four is the main focus of the dining room setting. Surrounded by charcoal gray dining chairs in woven plush fabric, the dining set automatically conveys an atmosphere that is conducive for the sharing of holiday meals and stimulating conversation. Above, a string of neon lights in pink, purple and blue gives off a dynamic appeal and instantly becomes a conversation starter. Towards the sides, a pair of stark white chests of drawers serve as adjunct storage pieces and on top, black lamps shade on sparkling silver bases add a bit of pomp and drama to the vignette. The same black tree is decorated in the same theme – pink and blue, turquoise and magenta, for a cohesive and consistent look. Larger stylized Christmas tree trims in black are, this time, illuminated in neon blue for a stark and whimsy contrast.
The piece-de-resistance in this setting can be found in the bedroom set-up. A queen-sized, padded and fully upholstered, solid all-magenta bed captures the attention as it predominates. A wrap around, stitched, fabric padded headboard dominates and gives off a warm and cozy feel. Donned in silk sheets of blue and turquoise sheets with stark fuchsia pillows as accents, the bed still evokes a modern and spectacular vibe while at the same time, eliciting a practical and functional appeal. Neon lights in blue, purple and pink are strung above the length of the headboard as an artsy statement while cohesively tying up the theme together. A pair of blue, suede accent chairs with chrome legs reveal a contemporary side to the setting while charcoal gray accent rugs hold the vignette in place. A third, tall, black Christmas tree is adorned with the same color and texture palette which lends a consistent look throughout the entire setting.
The month of September ushers in the start of the Christmas season in the country and is touted to the be the longest holiday season in the world.
